I love this Polar Bear sculpture. He exudes such a sweet Bear spirit that comes through in his expression.
I remember when I was sculpting him, I had one of his front paws up as though he was taking a step. Yet as I worked I received an image of him standing solidly with all four feet planted with grounded energy and his head up, as if he had caught a scent with his extraordinary sense of smell.
He essentially was a part of the creative process, showing me what was required.
He is beautifuly translated into hand-cast bronze using the time-honored lost wax method. Even my fingerprints are captured!
Edition for this sculpture is 20. He stands 5.5 inches high.
*Please note: This sculpture needs to be cast. It will take aproximately 2 months for it to be completed once an order has been made.
