This original graphite and encaustic drawing of an African Gemsbok or oryx antelope depicts a lovely captured moment of the Oryx looking back over its shoulder while having a drink.

Drawing size is 8 x 8 inches.

Because the drawing is coated with beeswax it does not need to be under glass. The wax coating lends a mysterious, aged quality to the drawing which is rich with soft, subtle shadows and highlights.

The top of the drawing is stitched with embroidery thread so it can hang easily on the wall with a unique style.

Due to the current global geopolitical situation and oil shortage, the cost of shipping overseas and internationally (outside of Canada) have risen sharply.

Added to that are the extra costs of compulsory shipping duty pre-paid into the US and some European countries.

As a result, I have had to raise my shipping prices to cover these higher costs. Included in the shipping charge on my site are: pre-paid customs fees like duties and or taxes, as well as fuel surcharges, or overall higher courier costs.

When prices normalize again, I will be lowering the shipping charges accordingly
