A white horse against a dark backdrop always evokes a feeling of quiet mystery for me. The metallic gold ink illuminates the shadows and creates a nimbus around the horse.

These drawings with their wax coating can be hung unframed or mounted within a frame without glass. The top edge of the paper is stitched with embroidery thread to make an ornamental hanger.

Over time, the beezwax can crystalize on the surface, so a gentle buffing with your fingertips or a soft, lint-free cloth every so often will polish the wax and bring back its translucence.

Please take care to keep your drawing in a temperature controlled space, and out of direct sunlight as the wax can soften in very warm conditions.

The drawing beneath is stable, though, and will not run or smudge, even if the wax melts. Simply place it in a cool place for a while, and then re-buff the surface.
Due to the current global geopolitical situation and oil shortage, the cost of shipping overseas and internationally (outside of Canada) have risen.

Added to that are the extra costs of compulsory duty pre-paid shipping into the US. Included in the shipping charge on my site (for US destinations only) are: pre-paid customs fees like duties and or state taxes, which until recently have always been the receiver's responsibility.

As a result, I have had to raise my shipping prices to cover these higher costs. When prices normalize again, I will be lowering the shipping charges accordingly
Sadly, I am no longer able to ship to US destinations from this website. Fine art sculpture, paintings and prints have been hit with a 50% US tariff.

Due to the way shipping now works to US destinations, all tariffs, duties and customs fees must be paid up front by the shipper. I am unable to absorb this cost, and do not have the option for variable pricing by destination through this site. As such, until the current trade situation normalizes and the tariffs are lifted, I will not be able to ship items to the United States.
