The first of a couple of Hummingbirds I plan to create for this collection of Mini Paintings, this Rufous truly is a jewel! Even green shows up as the sunlight illuminates his beautiful gold and red gorget throat feathers.
I thoroughly enjoyed painting this little fellow, a tiny piece with big punch.
