Oh my, did I ever have fun sculpting this little guy!
This young Meerkat seemed to just spring to life beneath my fingers, including the delightful turn of his head and his sweet little feet peeping out. Meerkats certainly are characters, and this little fellow was no exception.
Patina for this young Meerkat will likely be tradition French Brown or Tawny with the black mask around his eyes and tail tip, but with pre-casting special orders there is customization available for early collectors.
Regular cast price for this piece will be about $550-$650 CAD
This sculpture will be hand cast bronze using the lost wax method. All of my sculptures come with a Certificate of Authenticity in a custom folio.
**If you are purchasing as a gift and the sculpture cannot be ready in time, a custom gift package which includes the folio and certificate as well as a set of images of your ordered sculpture can be given in advance of the sculpture's arrival.
