I love Zebras! I have painted quite a few over the years but have never sculpted them. Imagine my delight at carving their flowing stripes instead of painting them. The slight difference in depth between the stripes allows for a subtle highlight of bronze on the raised "white" stripes.
I am offering the Zebra mare and foal as individuals or as a set( see the drop down menu). Their bases will fit together in several places to give the impression of one continuous sculpture, or if you choose, they can be placed separately in different ways to suit your mood or space.
Patina for these Zebras is tradition French Brown, or French Brown with Silver Nitrate highlights on the stripes.

This bronze Zebra sculpture is hand cast bronze using the lost wax method. All of my sculptures come with a Certificate of Authenticity in a custom folio.
**If you are purchasing as a gift and the sculpture cannot be ready in time, a custom gift package which includes the folio and certificate as well as a set of images of your ordered sculpture can be given in advance of the sculpture's arrival.
