This is a horse painting I did during a trip to Southern Spain.

While sitting in an open-air cafe in the historic town of Ronda, I saw this lovely carriage horse walking past, with his hooves ringing on the cobbles of the square.

I painted the piece the next day while I was in Spain, having taken a few photos of him as he went by.

The coffee was superb as well...

This original 16 x 20 inch oil painting is done on canvas, mounted and framed with a traditional silver wood frame and white linen liner. It matches the size and framing of Shadows and Light, another Andalusian horse painting from my Spanish travels.

Ronda Carriage Horse

Due to the current global geopolitical situation and oil shortage, the cost of shipping overseas and internationally (outside of Canada) have risen sharply.

Added to that are the extra costs of compulsory shipping duty pre-paid into the US and some European countries.

As a result, I have had to raise my shipping prices to cover these higher costs. Included in the shipping charge on my site are: pre-paid customs fees like duties and or taxes, as well as fuel surcharges, or overall higher courier costs.

When prices normalize again, I will be lowering the shipping charges accordingly
