I love Andalusian horses!
 
I had the honor of meeting this beautiful stallion in person to photograph him for some paintings. I did several including this large one which was part of my Ancient Tableau series.
 
This painting is beautifully framed with a 4 inch wide wood molding. The stretched canvas is 30 x 40 inches. (dimension does not include the frame)
 
The painting was created with oil, applied in thin layers to build up the detailed surface. This is part of a series of some 40 canvases I painted for exhibitions in both Canada and abroad.
